Bull Moose in Rut

The Bull Moose was back again at 11am. He appeared to be making a "rut pit" in the disked ground of the lentil field.

Garden Hose

Placed 300ft of drained garden hose in winter storage.

Bull Moose for breakfast

A bull moose made an appearance in the draw at 6:30am this morning. He was about 1/2 mile north of the home place. Binoculars where required for best viewing.

Fall field work begins

The Steiger wheel tractor worked the wheat field south of the home place with a Chisel Plow this afternoon. It has been great to have a couple sunny days after all the rain over the past 2 weeks.

Fall is here

It was 42 degrees this morning. The Red Oak leaves are starting to turn and the Astors are just beginning to bloom.
